Availability
Available to any member of the Cooperative, using the service for farm-related services such as grain drying, grain handling, and irrigation. The service is subject to the established service rules and regulations of the Cooperative.
Type of Service
The type of service rendered under this schedule shall be alternating current, 60 hertz, single and multi-phase, secondary voltages of either 120 volts, 208 volts, 240 volts, 277 volts, or 480 volts, or other voltages as may be mutually agreeable.
Monthly Rate
- Connection Charge: $95 per month
- Energy Charge
- All kWh per year: $0.1583 per kWh
Minimum Monthly Charge
The minimum monthly charge shall be the connection charge where 25 kilovolt-ampere (kVA) of transformer capacity or less is required. For members requiring in excess of 25 kVA of transformer capacity supplied by the Cooperative, the minimum monthly charge shall be increased at a rate of $0.20 per kVA or fraction thereof required.
Conditions of Service
- Service shall be provided based upon the Cooperative’s rules and regulations or as may be amended by the Board of Directors.
- All motors or apparatuses with inrush current in excess of 250 amps at 240 volts shall require Cooperative approval.
- All wiring, pole lines, wire, and other electrical equipment beyond the point where the service wires of the member connect to the service wires of the Cooperative shall be considered the distribution system of the members and shall be furnished and maintained by the members except that metering equipment shall be furnished and maintained by the Cooperative.
- Service under this schedule shall be limited to one meter for the same member where the service can be adequately supplied from a single service drop.
- The Cooperative may require corrective measures or devices for any motor or apparatus which in the opinion of the Cooperative will cause voltage fluctuation to other members. Unless otherwise permitted, the maximum primary voltage fluctuation is 3%.
- The member shall be responsible for installing under voltage or loss of phase relays for the protection of the member’s equipment.
- All motors in excess of 10 horsepower will be three-phase unless approved by the Cooperative.
- The Cooperative will furnish and maintain at its expense, one transformation and service drop, unless otherwise provided for in the service rules and regulations. All wiring, pole lines, wires, and other electrical equipment beyond the point where the service wires of the member, which extend from the weather head of the service entrance installed by the member, connect with the service wires of the Cooperative is considered the distribution system of the member and shall be furnished and maintained by the member except that the outdoor meter base and meter shall be furnished and maintained by the Cooperative.
- Each member will be required in August of each year to choose if they want to remain on this rate for the next 12-month period. If the member does choose this rate, the member will be required to stay on that rate until August 31 of the following year unless they no longer receive service from the Cooperative at this location.

The above rates are subject to a WPCA Factor, as provided for in schedule WPCA.
