HVAC unit must be in a home served by RushShelby Energy. HVAC unit must be 3 or more years old and not have an existing preventative maintenance contract or agreement. The HVAC Tune-Up rebate is designed for air-source heat pumps and central air conditioning systems. Tune-up or preventative maintenance must be performed by a licensed HVAC contractor. Submission for rebate must include official HVAC Tune-Up Application and proof of purchase with an itemized receipt or invoice. Submission for rebates must be within 90 days of tune-up service in the same calendar year. 1 rebate per member account per calendar year. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis while funds are available. Rebates may take up to 6 weeks from receipt of the application by RushShelby Energy to process. Approved rebates will be returned to the applicant in the form of a check by mail via the U.S. Postal Service. Hoosier Energy has full discretion over the rebate and reserves the right to modify the program at any time. Rebates will come as a bill credit for amounts less than $50.
