The wind turbine pictured at right was were recently installed as part of the RushShelby Energy renewable energy pilot program. The interface which will gather information about the amount of energy generated by the turbine will be functional soon and data will be available here on the web site.

The wind unit is the Skystream 3.7 Wind turbine and provides 2.4 kW generation. It is mounted on a 50’ monopole. The unit was manufactured in Arizona. This turbine is similar in size to those commonly used in residential applications.
