Operation Round Up
RushShelby Energy Rural Electric Community Fund

Since RushShelby Energy was formed in 1936, we have been dedicated to helping the people in our service area live better lives, not only with affordable electric power, but through our involvement in a number of important community endeavors.

Now, with Operation RoundUp®, an innovative program that provides financial assistance to non-profit activities in our area, we can share a simple and rewarding way for RushShelby Energy members to contribute in our communities.

If you participate, your monthly RushShelby Energy bill will be automatically "rounded up" to the nearest dollar. For example, if your bill is $62.71, you'll pay $63.00, with 29 cents going directly into a special fund administered by the RushShelby Energy Rural Electric Community Fund Trustees. Members who participate will contribute about $6 each year--a small amount to help worthy causes in our community. This amount may also be tax deductible for you.

The program gives members a simple way to contribute to charitable purposes. RushShelby Energy, as a corporation, may also contribute funds to worthy causes. Operation RoundUp® is a way for members and RushShelby Energy to combine their efforts to do even more for our communities.
